Blood Orange Syrup

Blood Orange Syrup

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups freshly squeezed blood orange juice

Directions:

Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 18 to 20 minutes, or until thickened and slightly syrupy.
Yields about 1/3 cup. Serve on crêpes, vanilla ice cream, mixed drinks, pancakes, waffles, or French toast.
